I have been cleaning my office.... again. When I got the notion (that gut wrenching prompt from God) I was not excited about it one bit. My office was NOT dirty. It only needed dusting and straightening up but, I believe that blessed are those who take the time to clean! So I tackled the project.
I used my top organizational strategies, the ones I share with my coaching clients who want to get organized.
The hope is when you feel it's time to do some cleaning in your physical space you will be blessed the way I was. Taking time to clean in this manner prompted me to purge my mind and physical space. Gaining clarity is a blessing!
No longer am I looking at unfinished blog posts and worrying how to get them done. No more stacks of paper with potential book ideas and no more piles of miscellaneous documents fighting for my attention. I was able to throw away the pens that don't write even after signing copies of my books with them. Completed tasks are a blessing!
As I faced each section of the room, I was forced to evaluate my progression towards my goals. If an item represented a failed project it no longer stayed around to condemn me. Precious things like my books and the "Ignite" conference poster stayed as highlights and encouragement to go forth. Emotional freedom is a blessing!
This process enabled me to cleanse my heart, mind, and soul of all things old and many things done. Cleaning my office actually provided inspiration to do even greater things. Having a strong vision for the future is a blessing!
The next time you are prompted to clean your home office just do it. You might find that blessed are those who take the time to clean!
Until next time,

I do need to state, that before we go further, that I’m not a therapist or an expert. (I often recommend both.) Please don’t take my advice as a replacement for your own. I don’t know your situation and can’t make any guarantees, but I hope that my ministry is helpful to you.
